Drilling of Ceramics with Fiber Laser

The ITRI patented optical architecture of the Picosecond and Nanosecond dual-pulse hybrid output fiber laser and laser architecture design, can output high-spike power picosecond pulses and high-average power nanosecond pulses of two different physical properties.

The picosecond pulse can be used to modify the surface of the material to increase the surface light absorption rate of the material, and then remove the material with a high average power nanosecond pulse. The combination of two kinds of lasers has a good processing effect on transparent materials (glass) and hard and brittle materials (ceramics).
